Grade Descriptions from the CA Handbook
| A : The student consistently demonstrates a ready mastery of the skills emphasized in the course, a comprehensive understanding of content, and the ability to offer insight into the material. |
| B : The student can most often recall and use facts and relationships presented in the course, make connections between different topics, and solve challenging problems. |
| C : The student demonstrates a general understanding of course material. However, the ability to recall information or to demonstrate skills in incomplete and the student seldom goes beyond the ordinary in problem solving. |
| D : The student has some understanding of the course material, but there are significant weaknesses in content knowledge and / or skill demonstration. |
| F : The student may have some marginal knowledge of course material but has consistently failed to demonstrate an understanding of the most basic skills and content. |
